Overview

High leverage market position and acquisitions had dramatically altered United Jersey Banks’ needs and future growth path. Continued expansion and acquisition presented a challenge in planning a facility or facilities to meet their operation needs. C SIE completed a study to analyze the Banks’ current and future operations in data processing facilities, personnel, demographics, space requirements, telecommunications, and site location for the main data processing center and operations center functions. The analysis included all physical, functional and economic factors affecting those decisions. CSIE performed a site search and identified over forty possible sites and out of the forty, evaluated in detail twenty-four. Four sites were selected for final consideration. After the final site was selected, CSIE prepared complete construction documents for the new facility’s interior including architectural, mechanical, electrical, computer hardware planning and was retained to administer the construction and to coordinate and manage general construction. Services performed by CSIE included: Master planning & requirements analysis, site selection and evaluation, interior design, computer hardware planning, architectural design for interior, telecommunication design, mechanical and electrical engineering, migration planning and construction management.
