Projects - Reliance Insurance Company

Overview

CSIE designed and implemented this project in total, beginning by developing an overall program for the new data processing facility accounting for a ten-year projected computer hardware growth. The site selection covered the entire eastern United States and took approximately 4 months to complete. Once the site was selected, CSIE began the engineering phase of the project translating the original program to construction document and specifications and then managed the entire effort including the construction and facility commissioning. The overall configuration consists of a 46,000 sf main building (incorporating the 40,000 sf computer center, print room, tape library, paper storage area, communications network control area, command center, support office area, technical expansion area, lounge, dining room, conference room and exercise room with lockers and showers).
